How will my retractable door screen be attached?
Bottom Sill:
Depending on the slope and size of your existing sill, one of these five sills will be cut to size and attached on-top of your existing sill on the bottom. The bottom of your retractable door housing, track, and latches will be fastened to this piece and will serve to protect the track and securely fasten the unit.
Note: The sill will protrude approximately 1" maximum above your current sill - However, this protruding height may be less depending on the type of sill necessary for your entry-way and will be determined by the installer.
Top Sill:
Attached to the top of your frame will be 1" x 1" picket cut to size and fastened the top of your door frame . The top of your retractable door housing, track and latches will fastened to the picket. The color of the picket, track, and latch will match the color of door that you choose.
